So we have been meeting with the missionaries and taking the discussions. They asked us if we wanted to go to the visitors center at the temple and watch a movie about Joseph Smith. So we agreed to go and it was very cool. The temple is so pretty especially at night with all the lights and stuff. Brakky was not crazy about it so me and him went out and spent some time around the cristis ( a statue or Jesus for those of you who don't know what that is). When we first got to the visitors center they say us down and let us listen to some scriptures about Jesus while we sat infront of this statue and as soon as they pushed play Brakky looked up at the statue and his eyes just lit up and he smiled... It was such a spirtual moment for me... its like he knew exactly who that was and exactly what happened to him and there was just so much love at that point in the night it was a miracle... So any ways while Brandon and the missionaries were in the movie Brakky and I went out by this statue and they let little kids touch this statue so Brakky wanted to touch it so I told him Brakken thats Jesus. I only had to tell him that once and for the rest of the night he kept saying Jesus... so then one of the temple workers pointed out Jesus's feet where the nails had peirced through and so then Brakken kept pointing at them so I told him Brakken that is Jesus' owies and he looked at me like why would anyone hurt Jesus... So then I told him he has owies because they were Mean to him... So then when his Daddy came out of the movie he had to show his Daddy and he would say Jesus... owies... dey mean... and every time he said this I got tears in my eyes... I know it is prob hard for some people to believe that my 1 year old understands all of this but he knows... He still every day shows me on his foot where Jesus' owies are and tells me "dey mean"... Brandon and I have not always been very close to the church or to God and we should be... He has helped and is helping us out so much more then I ever could have imagined... I have not had a testimony for a very long time and I can honestly say that I can feel it coming out in me and in Brandon... We have started having family prayer together and Brakken says his own prayers and every time he gets into his bed he folds his arms right away and says "hemeny bonno" that means heavenly father... and knows to thank heavenly father for everything... Its amazing and has really helped out Brandon and I also.
