BAD BLOGGER

Ok so Im prob one of the worlds worst bloggers... we have been so busy doing nothing or at least it seems that way... so im going to play catch up now... things have been quite crazy around here getting ready for the holidays and baby and keeping up with Brakken... so we got the nursery all painted and the crib set up... the nursery isnt quite where I want it yet buy if she comes early she will have a room of her own and bed to sleep in... Halloween came and went and we had a blast!!!!! Brakken was a railroader like his Daddy, and he was so adorable... everyone kept calling him BOB the builder and he looked at them like you idiot Im like my dad!!!!! ha ha it was funny... we took him trick or treating in old town and now everytime we drive through old town he says mom are we going trick or treating next week... ( thats his new thing... everything is next week) after trick or treating in old town we went to the Halloween party at my work!!!! It was pretty crazy, but by far the funnest Halloween party I have ever been to... After weeks of contemplating I finally came up with a couples costume for us and my big belly... I called brandon and asked him what he thought about going as Juno and Polly Bleeker... Surprisingly he was all for it!!!!! I told him if we went he had to wear the super short yellow shorts and even more surpisingly he was down for that!!!! We had a blast that night and after making sure everyone arrived home safely from the party we got home at 2:45 A.M. it was a late night but so much fun and great memories to last forever!!!!!!! We took Brakken trick or treating around our neighborhood the next night and dressed up again... this time as something different... Brandon went as a hunter and I went as a 80's work out girl... we didnt go very far just around our neighborhood but Brakken had a blast!!!!! This year we had Thanksgiving at our house, with Brandons family... it was a small group just Brandon, me, Brakken, Scott, Patty, Stephanie, Jacob and Natalie we had a great dinner and lots of fun!!!!! I have not only become the worlds worst blogger but also the worst at taking pictures, I took one and only one picture on Thanksgiving but it was actually a very good picture to get... Its the first Thanksgiving at our house and Brandon's first time cooking the turkey and carving it... We had a great Thanksgiving and it really helped us to remember all the many Blessings we have and made us truely step back and remember what is important in this world!!!! Each other and our families... On Friday we loaded up and headed to Bear Lake so Brandon could get his first ride(Snowmobiles of course) of the year in. He said there was alot of snow and he was so happy to get out and play in it!!!!! I have to admit I am a little Jealous though... wish I could have gone!!!! Brakken has already sat on Santas lap twice this year and he has a much better attitude about it this year then he did last year... we took him at the mall on Friday and he walked right up there and said "HI SANTA" Santa put his arms out and Brakken climbed right up on his lap!!!! We had been asking Brakken all week what he was going to ask Santa for... we had been trying to persuade him to ask for a tool bench like Daddy's, but all he wanted all week was motorcycles aka Dirt Bikes... But he got right up on Santa's lap and I said Brakken tell Santa what you want for Christmas and he said a Tool Bench Like Daddy's... we were so happy that he wasn't affraid this year... So on Saturday we took Brakken along with some of his Higgins cousins to the fire station for our own private meeting with Santa... (we get spoiled with this because Grandpa takes Santa on the fire truck) Again Brakken was not afraid!!!! we were so glad... we came home Sunday and put up our Christmas tree... I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR and I will try to be better about blogging now that we are getting closer to babies arrival!!!!!
